35 Years of Nurney Landscape

This month marks the 35th anniversary of Nurney Landscape & Design. Jay Nurney started the company in March of 1987 with the idea that it would help pay his way through college. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture, he decided to continue and expand the business and make the company his main focus. Using the teachings from his college courses, Jay was able to lay a foundation for what would become Nurney Landscape & Design.

Growing The Business

Every year, the business continued to grow. With each new client, design contract, and maintenance contract, the company would increase in size. Since starting the business with a single red truck and trailer, Nurney Landscape & Designs has employed hundreds of hardworking individuals and acquired a fleet of vehicles and machines. Bucks County has to be one of the most exciting places to be in the landscaping business. The natural beauty, scenery, and history give a rich context to the landscaping work we do.

Serving Bucks County

Over the years, we have been honored to receive awards including the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Association Award for Landscape Excellence. Something that we take pride in, however, are the relationships that we’ve created with our clients. It has been wonderful to serve all of them right here in Bucks County. Every client that we work with has been a part of the Nurney family and our story over the past 35 years. We wouldn’t be here today without each and everyone one of them

The Nurney Promise

As trends continue to evolve, there are a few principles that have remained constant here at Nurney. First and foremost, our commitment to handling all of your landscaping needs including builds, design, and maintenance. With over 35 years in Bucks County, we are happy to share our knowledge and experience to deliver you the landscape of your dreams. We aim to keep things simple for you with a single point of contact and a beautiful well-managed landscape. That's always been the Nurney promise. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of our story. We look forward to continuing to provide Bucks County with our services for another 35 years!
