Starting with a brand new site with too much lawn and driveway, a more welcoming landscape was created by a landscape architect whom we have worked with in the past on several projects together. The design began with the driveway, where excess asphalt was eliminated and a grand entrance with a paver apron was created. The drive has a paver border and 5 paver parking spaces for guests. The relatively flat yard was given dimension and texture by bringing in 500 cubic yards of topsoil to create different levels of interest. Berms were created along the drive for planting beds and to redirect surface water. All of the beds are irrigated with a new in-ground system. The final project was accented with a new 120 volt low-voltage lighting system. other projects |
